Introducing Tapestry Design Studios, a new landscaping design company based near Colchester, Essex…

…established in 2016 by a team of qualified and experienced garden designers and landscape designers.

Already running the award-winning garden construction business Holland Landscapes since 1988, father and son team Chris and Paul Baker decided to develop the design side of the business further by creating sister company Tapestry Design Studios, dedicated to providing inspiring and unique solutions for clients. Together with the company values of innovation, quality and customer satisfaction, Tapestry’s design ethos is to give every plant, structure and space aesthetic appeal and purpose.

Leading the team is Senior Designer Kate Marshall MSGD, who has been designing gardens for over 15 years. Alongside Kate, the growing team at Tapestry Design Studios have taken on additional design expertise from rising garden designer Katie Moyes DipGD, a graduate of Writtle School of Design. Katie says “I’m really excited to have joined the wonderful team at Tapestry at this pivotal time. It’s a privilege to be able to design beautiful landscapes for clients, knowing we are backed by the superb construction capability of Holland Landscapes, to present them with the garden they have always wanted”.

Tapestry Design Studios will work closely with Holland Landscapes, continuing to provide an in-house service. This partnership ensures a seamless process from design through to completed construction and aftercare. Projects are delivered to exacting standards, with minimal disruption, on time and on budget.

The designers also collaborate with other landscapers and designers on exciting projects, including recent work on a back garden in Colchester, designed with entertaining in mind. The garden features an outdoor kitchen, sunken patio, firepit and swimming pool.
