The National APL awards are designed to acknowlege the high achievements of their members, and raise the profile of APL landscapers and their high quality of work.

These awards pick out the best work of from the previous year and are seperated into 9 different categories. They are juged by an independant panel of landscape and garden designers and the chairman of the APL.

2001 Hard landscaping award

This front garden incorporates the driveway and front garden as one, providing ample parking and still maintaining an attractive area.

 

 

2003 Garden consrtuction under £10,000

This small garden was carefully designed to fit within a budget of £10,000. Even though it is a small garden we created a well ballanced garden consisting of paving, lawn, a small water feature and planting.

 
   
 

2007 Garden construction under £15,000

This small garden in suffolk has been designed to be failry low maintainance. It incorporates a monolith water feature, planting in gravel, a circular lawn and a sandstone patio.

2007 Garden Construction £30,000 - £50,000

This large garden was designed to be used for entertaining our clients many guests, a large patio area was essential. This patio has boarders around it to soften the impact of it size. There is a gravel 'courtyard' area surrounded by trellis to make a small garden area within the large size of this garden.

Judges comments: "Impeccable hard landscape and good planting... good to see a country garden."

 
   
 

2007 Garden construction over £50,000

This large garden consists of a large terrace area. Connected to this large area are other smaller terraces including a small breakfast area conected by a cobbled path. This garden incorporates garden lighting throughout, a large formal pond with a stepping stone walkway, a pergola walkway leading to a small courtyard area with a globe water feature.

Judges comments: "Immaculate paving and beautifully constructed pool… levels handled well."
